A Turtley Amazing Field Trip

Topa Topa Elementary Students gather around one of our Galapagos Tortoises

Second graders from Topa Topa Elementary visited the Turtle Conservancy bright eyed and ready to learn! Their visit to our center was a wonderful way to wrap up their “turtle week” at school where they had spent the past few days immersed in turtle curriculum, and they were happy to share their new knowledge with us. Meeting the giants at our center and getting to see newly hatched Burmese Star Tortoises were some of the major highlights.

It was such a joy to see these young students express so much excitement and genuine interest in the turtles at our conservation center.

Thank you to Ms. D and the second grade class at Topa Topa Elementary for your support!
