Training the Next Generation of Conservationists

As we wrap up the end of the school year for our Field Biology and Conservation class, we can’t help but to look back with pride on all of the hard work our students have dedicated to the course.

The end of May will conclude our third year of teaching alongside our partners at The Thacher School as we’ve had the privilege of immersing juniors and seniors in turtle conservation. The course lessons include subjects such as species biodiversity, the climate crisis and its effect on turtles, egg development, and conservation research methods.

We wish our students a wonderful summer ahead, and we congratulate our graduating seniors as they embark on their next adventure. We know they will continue to educate themselves and others about turtles and our natural world!
