NEW YORK CITY

Located in one of the most exciting neighborhoods of Manhattan, our Noho headquarters is responsible for fundraising, membership, social media, and international programs. We strive to embody what makes working for a small NGO great, with lots of opportunities to learn the inner workings of conservation, how NGOs operate, and lend your expertise to help us grow.

Volunteers

Do you consider yourself fun, creative, and passionate about wildlife? We want you to be a part of our urban jungle! We are currently searching for volunteers for the following positions:

  • Web and Graphic Design - Help us design everything and anything turtle related! Your work may be featured on billboards in New York, clothing, merchandise, advertising, social media, and magazines. We are always looking for creative people to join our team in any capacity, and you don't even need to be local!

    • Time commitment: No minimum, projects are completed as time allows.

  • Social Media - Are you a selfie connoisseur? Help our marketing team with viral campaigns in the city and online. We are looking for people who are interested in getting young people involved with conservation through fun, interactive online experiences.

    • Time commitment: 10 hours per month, 6 month commitment.

  • Membership - Have two days a month to donate? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can help us with our mailing program, member outreach, and data entry. This is a good student position for those interested in working for an NGO in the future. Volunteers with this position will receive a complimentary one year membership after 3 months!

    • Time commitment: 10 hours per month, 6 month commitment.

  • Photography/Videography - We are always looking for video editors, production assistants and photographers for assignments that come up from time to time. These include photographing animals, merchandise, and outreach events. While we use our own equipment, volunteers must provide their own if they wish to be a primary photographer due to liability.

    • Time commitment: No minimum, projects are completed as time allows.
