The South Fork Natural History Museum’s (SoFo) 29th Annual Summer Gala, honored Courtney Ross, Don Church and Russell Mittermeier for 2018 at the Bridgehampton, NY museum site on Saturday, July 14. Russ and Don are pioneers in species conservation for the often forgotten fauna, including turtles and tortoises. Their leadership has been instrumental in guiding our organization and supporting the work we do around the world to protect chelonians.
