Eva Maria Forney

Born and raised in Ventura, Eva has been a valued member of the Turtle Conservancy team since 2025, serving as Office Manager and Bookkeeper. With more than a decade of experience in accounting and office management, she brings a strong background in financial operations, organization, and administrative support. She is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations thrive and takes pride in supporting the day-to-day work that makes the Turtle Conservancy's conservation efforts possible.

Eva enjoys creating a welcoming and efficient environment for staff, partners, and visitors alike. Whether managing financial operations or assisting with daily organizational needs, she is dedicated to ensuring the Conservancy can continue its important work protecting the world's most endangered turtles and tortoises.

Outside of work, Eva enjoys cooking, exploring local breweries and restaurants, spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, friends, and family. As a lifelong Ventura County resident, she appreciates the area's natural beauty and is proud to support an organization committed to protecting wildlife and inspiring conservation.
