Gregory George

Gregory George, Greg has 30+ years of experience as a herpetologist, naturalist and conservationist, including 15 years as a zookeeper working with reptiles. He spent much of his career as a zoo and aquarium herpetologist and is the founder of Gregory George Designs, LLC. a company that specializes in the design and fabrication of naturalistic habitats for amphibians, reptiles, fish, and mammals.

Greg’s unique gift is his ability to use his experience as a field herpetologist as a guide when producing captive environments, including details such as accurate geological formations, sedimentation, artifacts and natural plantings. He was an integral part in designing and constructing many of the enclosures and habitats at our conservation center, and continues to provide expertise in building facilities for captive animals and supporting the growth of TC facilities.
